It's no coincidence that our recent run-up coincided with Acosta's disappearing act. This guy is incompetence personified. He shoots off his mouth at will and the market hammers us. He cares not a bit for the Ecuadorian people. If he did he would realize what he is saying about state controlled this and that is destroying the economic prospects of Ecuador. Remember it's all about perception. Correa needs to muzzle that guy and soon.

However, at the end of the day, I think Correa will get his way and large scale mining will flourish. Remember all the news releases about declining foreign investment well if Acosta gets his way FI will go to zero. Not only that the locals will take their investment dollars to Peru, Chile and Brazil.

Don't get me wrong I'm still very positive about our near term prospects but just needed to vent a bit!!!
