Ecuador's ministry of mines and oil has concluded its round of mining dialogue meetings with a gathering of delegates from the provinces of Guayas, Azuay, El Oro, Zaruma and Portovelo, among others, the ministry said in a statement.
The meetings aimed to gather different proposals that will be incorporated into the new mining law bill that is being created.
With the dialogue stage finalized, the process moves into its final phase of drawing up the bill itself, which is due to be presented to President Rafael Correa on June 27, the statement said.
