The environmental card keeps coming as the only roadblock to a fair and equitable mining law. However there are no such issues with Aurelian. I e-mailed Marla specifically on this issue a few weeks back and she said that they have no concerns about this area. Last year they hired an environmental manager to be on site and have a great record in this area. The locals seem to love Aurelian and a big part of that is that we are environmentally responsible. I have never heard of any protests directed towards Aurelian like some of the other companies.

If this is out of the way, when the miners are sent back to work, we should be full steam ahead. The draft mining law looks good to Aurelian and if anything will get a bit better once a few of their concerns are addressed in the weeks ahead.
