Bravo Zulu ebear. The political climate in any country will always have an effect on that countries industry. This has been made quite clear in the country we all are interested in. the two extremes, Socialist Planned economies and Laissez Faire Capitalist economies have never really worked for the populations as a whole. Inevitably those who advocate these extremes eventually end up with some form of Mixed economy. Which way the mix leans depends on those who have the political power. An understanding, by way of a test, helps to give ( key word, helps) the individual an insight into his/her own ability to withstand the upheavals that are going on in a country such as Ecuador, and even if they should be invested in in that country.

On the other hand, maybe what I've just said is really dumb and should be eliminated.
