i just received the same letter from emerson. the first letter you referred to came from the embassy. this letter (although it's exactly the same as the form letter from the embassy) was sent by emerson's office. so now all of us who wrote to emerson should start hearing from him too, even if it's just the same thing we heard before from the embassy. your tax dollars at work.
