Published: May 21, 2008 WASHINGTON: The chairman of a Senate oversight committee has said he is considering legislation to place limits on large institutional investors in commodities markets, which have posted record prices this year in agricultural products and oil.
Yeah, well good luck with that. If I can't trade in the USA, I'll just move offshore. There's a dozen markets that would be happy to take that business, and once it's gone, it's gone for good.
These guys truly are idiots. If they want the speculation to stop, just tell the Fed to stop printing money. Of course you know that's never gonna happen.
