Funnypop, thanks for posting. Otto's is a great source for sound analysis.

This says it all: ... a marvellous buying opportunity. Aurelian will absolutely fly once the mining law hits the streets, and it will fly again when the draft law becomes the law. (and might I add it will go through the roof once a bid is announced).

I sure hope Otto is right, but we're not seeing much response in the share price and the mining draft is only a week away. I would have expected some kind of run-up into the news and a sell-off after the announcement, followed by a bounce. That's usually how these things play out.

Maybe the market has had enough of Ecuador and has moved on, or perhaps they're just sitting on their hands waiting for greater clarity?

I'm not as sanguine as he is about the mining law. I suspect it's going to contain something unpleasant that will cause another s-storm. That's the pattern we've come to expect. Maybe I just answered my own question?
