It's a bit tedious, but the way to make that an active link is to first paste it into your post, then select it with the screen editor. You'll see the greyed out chain link in the above button bar light up. Click on it, then past the link into the dialog box that appears and click on INSERT. That will make the posted link clickable.

Did I mention it was tedious?
