With the rate of new discoveries falling behind the replacement rate for existing producers, the consensus seems to be for a scramble to acquire juniors with proven reserves sometime in the near future. Considering that we are entering the weak season for mining shares, that could conceivable be any day now, as majors take advantage of low prices.

In view of that, has anyone compliled a list of juniors that compares their proven reserves and market caps? Given the heavy discount these co's are selling for right now, it might be wise to own the top 4 or 5.

Obviously we own #1 in terms of ounces, but for reasons well known to us, that may not be enough to get us in play should the above scenario unfold. The idea here is to hedge against being left behind, should this market really start to take off.
