We had two meetings to work on draft mining law this week. One on Monday, the second on Wednesday. (Yesterday and today are national holidays in Ecuador). So the government’s resolve to get this dealt with sooner rather than later seems to be strong. The job losses (from Aurelian but also more generally) continue to be in the news so that is also encouraging a quicker solution. That’s about all for now.
