Casey's recommendations have not been fairing well lately and he is probably losing subscribers. I think this particular article is more aimed at CGP which Casey had been recommending. They have no gold in Ecuador yet but had a JV exploration play in Ecuador. They are probably done in Ecuador now but have other JV properties.
