"The suspension of exploratory activities "is part of a process that will lead to a new mining law and they need 180 days of tranquillity in order to develop a new law," told Reuters the president of the local subsidiary of Canadian Aurelian Resources, Dominic Channa."
Does Correa has any understand that this suspension has the exact opposite effect of creating anxiety amongst all the stakeholders? Are the new laws being written by the working miners so work has to be stopped? Get real, what does waiting 180 days serve other than creating unemployment amongst the local empoyees, and perhaps soften up the mining companies?
