Aurelian Resources Was Stolen By Kinross and Management But Will Not Be Forgotten

The company whose shareholders were better than its management

Well this is the sentiment of most of the retail investors anyway - get out of ARU - at least for now. However, it is easier said than done.

Bad news selling, based on my past observation of the market, usually lasts for three days, so we have at least one more day of pain to endure on Monday. We may easily close at $4 (let's hope not). The key is what will the big mutual funds do? I know ARU is the top holding of the BMO Precious Metal fund (which I also own, and it dropped big time on Friday - almost 5%!) and I am sure ARU is the top holding in the Sprott Gold & Precious Mineral fund as well (% not disclosed). If these fund managers decide to pull the trigger and start dumping, SP could be mired in the dumps for the long haul.

That is why clarifiction from management is an absolute must. They may not give it to us retails in an NR, but if I were runnning those funds, I would demand a definite answer before market opens on Monday so that I would not lose my bonus over this fiasco. The opening trading on Monday may very give us the answer we want. Stay funed.
