Cash expected from the IPO would now have to come from other sources. I would not want any further dilution anymore than the next person but in this case, might be warranted as Kivas points out.

If we need another private placement to keep things rolling when we are so close to a possible agreement with the locals, then so be it. What is the alternative, capitulation?

Any cash being pulled out of Ecuador could very well be re-directed to Peru which is better seen as "mining friendly". Case in point, Alberta's new royalty regime was extremely beneficial to Saskatchewan's oilpatch.
