The share price may be telling us that Patrick fully intends to go it alone.

Patrick can go wherever he likes, but this is a public company. The shareholders will decide. Well, that's how it's supposed to work, right?

And on that note, I'll take this opportunity for a Sunday mini-rant, not against Aurelian, but against the whole rotten system in general.

I don't know which is the more insideous force: central banks intervening in markets and manipulating the basic unit of exchange; governments for allowing it to happen; corporate executives for failing to execute their primary obligation to the shareholders; market regulators for turning a blind eye; or just the general public for being so incredibly stupid, but together we're all headed to hell in a very large handbasket at twice the speed of light, which is really, really fast!
