"A clarification re: recent news as reported in Reuters and Dow Jones re: mining mandate to be put forward in the Assembly. The tone of this news is very alarmist. There is no question that there are anti-mining assembly members and that they are attempting to put forward a negative mandate. However, President Correa continues to be very supportive of mining. President Correa and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mines will work with the assembly to ensure that any mandate put forward is reasonable. The idea with any mandate that is voted in is that it will be included in the constitution. Thus it is important that the mandate, if it is put forward, is high level and supports responsible mining.

We have an active schedule ahead of us in terms of marketing, conferences and site tours so continue to reach out to new investors and ensure that existing shareholders receive good updates.

Still expecting good news flow over the next couple of months with good progress being made on stability agreement, scoping study and updated resource."
