Correa has been tarred with many brushes...most by American press since he has some rather un-conventional( as America thinks), independent and rather (IMO) refreshing ideas for a SA country.

I would ask you this: What leads you to believe, after over one year in power, this 'leftist', who has done nothing except be a rather good capitalist, will alter his course radically?

The press, the markets, everyone has been very tough on these guys and they have not wavered from their mandate...I wish our politicians were as dedicated to the country.
