Investors,

it seems not many people have picked up on ths yet but this latest news out of Switzerland is incredibly bullish for the gold price.

The swiss central bank announced last fall in September that they planned to sell 250 tons of gold over the next 2 years. Well it seems that all that gold is now gone in a matter of 6 months.

Do you think a final bout of dumping by them had something to do with the latest downturn in the gold price hahahahaha. It would appear my resent post where I comment on the possible reasons for the latest downturn in the price of gold was spot on.

250 tons of gold gone in 6 months. The gold cartel must be starting to feel the pressure.

We are almost at the end of the first quarter of 2008. Come Tuesday we should start to see the price of commodities stabilize and restart their uptrend as those funds who took profits to window dress for their quarterly and year ends enter the market again.

This will be very good for ARU share price. Look at the big picture investors and do not get caught up in the small details. They are meaningless in the longer term.

Regards,

F.F.

JOHANNESBURG -

The Swiss National Bank is unlikely to sell further positions of its gold reserves in the medium term as Switzerland is no longer overweight in gold.

The World Gold Council said in a recent Central Banks Case Study report that Switzerland no longer appeared as overweight in gold as it did in the late 1990s. The country has "more than halved" its official monetary reserves portfolio allocation in the metal through two sales programmes and the present would not be the best time for the country to undertake further sales.

"The country remains one of the largest holders of gold worldwide in terms of both per capita and per unit of GDP. Nevertheless, further SNB sales are unlikely in the short to medium term."
