Funny you should mention Alex. I worked with him in the 80's. He was always an analyst until he decided to write a book about taxation. It sold enough to allow him to continue writing & to pursue his real love of sailing. I believe he was gone from the securities business by 1990. If I remember correctly he was at Connacher when they got in big trouble for violations.
