Kerrisdale's views are part of the bigger picture, which we all need to zoom out and consider once in a while.  Political and country risk are very germain to this discussion.  Being strident about it probably isn't, but some latitude is called for here.   If someone is passionate about their views, they may have arrived at that point for good reason.

I'll just add that one or two posts from him, however strident they may appear, is less annoying than having to wade through half a dozen ahoy matey, nice to see ya, hey thanks for that, type posts which add absolutely nothing to the discussion.   That's what the stars are for.   Likewise there's the ignore button.
