Thank you all for sharing your experience with handling the RRSP investment accounts for your missues. It is a thankless job and is never appreciated.
I put the ARU investment in her RRSP account simply for the fact she has the RRSP room and I don't. I would consider that as "our" investment, and somehow when there a bit of rough water, it becomes "her" investment that is in jeopardy.
It is always interesting how things are seen from a feminine perspective. Something like "our" son is a good boy and "your" son is a bad boy. Go figure.
