Joseph Hamilton graduated from the University of Toronto in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geology. He then went on to earn a Masters of Science (Applied) from Queen's University in 1991. He has over 21 years' experience in the international mining industry. Joseph Hamilton was employed as a precious metals research analyst with Dundee Securities Corporation from June 1997 to March 2003. He then held a similar position with RBC Capital Markets, Global Mining Division from March 2003 to December 2004. He became the Chief Operating Officer of the Company in January 2005 and was promoted to the CEO role in 2007. He is currently a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, Canada and the CFA Institute.
