Writer-Editor Silvia Santacruz is an economist and business reporter who worked for El Comercio daily newspaper in Quito, Ecuador. She has freelanced for El Universo newspaper in Guayaquil and Tiempo NY in Manhattan. Silvia holds a master’s degree in business journalism from CUNY Baruch College and an undergraduate degree in economics from the Polytechnic University in Guayaquil. She resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
