I don't think it really matters who gets elected as the next president. The front runners on the republican side are all promising more of the same and the front runners on the democrat side are all promising a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.

This guarantees large deficits and more money printing as far as the eye can see.

Another thing to remember is that debtor nations like the US find currency debasement as a way to pay their debts with less pain. Why not just print more and use that to pay off your creditors.

US inflation is guaranteed and gold will continue to be the beneficiary.
