Well put Ankheroo
Usually there is a more reasoned answer to the Reuters style 'shoot from the hip' type articles that Soto puts out. But that's also Ecuadorian politics...a bit green...and a bit confusing...and not everyone down there is on Correa's side.
In the end though, I believe that Correa is an intelligient man, with the best interest of his people on the front burner. He also knows he needs oil companies and mining companies on board for his people to prosper.
While these ups and downs are a b*gger on shareholders nerves, they seem to always resolve themselves for the betterment of ARU in the end.
ARU is quiet this week, probably not wanting to reveal anything until something is in concrete. I get the feeling we are close. They are wise not to comment on things they don't control. It's better that the Ecuadorian government comes out and clarifies the mess themselves rather than ARU talk about where they think they are heading.
The fog is lifting. Time for Aurelian to set sail from this sheltered harbour. Raise the anchor. Man the halyards.
