The company whose shareholders were better than its management
OK, I'll take a crack at it
1) Although the 43-101 at 2.3g/t cut-off is 13.7mm oz or 14.0 mm equivalent, how many ounces do you think we have between FDN and Bonza right now?
--- Including the 4 unreported deep holes between 3350 and 3550, the holes to the south of the zone, and a 1.6g/t cut-off (correcting for $800 gold) I figure we are pushing over 22 million ounces. Yeah I know its optimistic but not by much.
2) What do you think the price of ARU should be at the moment?
--- about $16.5 based on $100/indicated ounce and the lack of an agreement on royalty. (Orezone paid Goldfields $83/oz to get its share of a very so so project in Africa)
3) Who do you think will be/who would you like to be... the successful buyer of FDN?
--- Newmont or the Chinese but I lean to Newmont.
4) What do you think the time frame will be for a takeover of FDN?
--- It will go in play in the late spring but close in the summer 2008. ARU is going to try to slow walk things and move as far along as they can towards production in order to increase shareholder (e.g. their own) value.
5) What will the final takeover price of FDN be?
--- $67 based on 30 million ounces at $300/ounces.
6) Do you agree that FDN/Bonza should be sold separately spinning off the balance for exploration?
--- Nope! I think once this thing is in play its going to spin so fast and in so many directions as various majors make there play. If there is going to be a spin off now is the time. Once it’s in play there is no way that ARU is going to get shareholder consensus to tinker with the company. Maybe that could be our Christmas present!!!!
