I share your frustration, we all share your frustration. Personally I deal with it by setting a timetable. I know when this is all going to end, for me anyway.
I expect to see the new draft mining laws by January 2008, February at the latest (if Ecuadorians are at least as effective as Canadians, oops - have we seen the proposed tax laws yet on income trusts?)
I expect the proposals would be favourable. Once that is settled, there should be bids on ARU. I would say no later than March or April.
Otherwise I would sell in May and move on. Waiting for ARU to go into production to realize its full value would take at least three to five years. I can't afford to sit on those shares with virtually no return for that long. After all I am an investor, we all are, this would not be a prudent deployment of our capital.
Meanwhile, I have to endure the pain of these daily manipulations (without ever getting kissed first).
