e-mailed to the OSC re: launching a complaint on ARU share price manipulation

posted on Nov 29, 2007 11:50AM

Earlier this morning, out of frustration, I sent a e-mail to the OSC inquiring about the process of filing a complaint on the constant ARU share price manipulations.

I know this may be like an ant trying to move a mountain, but enough is enough. I think even "defenseless sheep" should put up some resistence on the way to slaughter. And we are watching someone stealing from us in broad daylight and laughing at us as well.

I received a standard response from the OSC and I am very interested in seeing what comes back. I would like ot know our legal rights under these circumstances.

Here is what I sent and received in return:

"......I noticed that one of my key investment holdings, Aurelian Resources ("ARU") has been subjected to heavy manipulation virtually on a daily basis for sometime. In particular today this gold mining company just announced favourable drill results and its share price took off initially, and then came the heavy blocking to suppress the market price to a loss position. This is so blatantly obvious and it already happened once earlier when the company announced its substantial reserve estimate about two months ago. The very same thing happened. I think this is an insult to the OSC's authorities and an serious infringement of the security laws.

Can you advise on how I can proceed and what evidence I need to gather and present before the OSC would look into this matter."
