I also find it amusing that all the media talking heads are attributing the big drop in POG due to the US $ strengthening. I just took a look at the USD index and it's sitting slightly up at about 76.05. A month ago the media made a big deal when it dropped to 80.

As others pointed out here I'm sure POG is bouncing off lows and will soon head much higher.
