Sounds like something similar that happened to Eldorado a couple months back in Turkey. Just wondering what the protocol is here. Surely a company the size of Iamgold would have been aware of the environmental standards in Ecuador and would likely have been warned a couple of times if they didn't measure up. Seems a little strange to me. On a positive note, Aurelian has said on numerous occasions that they strive to go above and beyond the local environmental requirements.
