The US stock markets have only been performing well in US dollars. In other currencies like the EURO and Canadian Dollar it is just in a trading range. With large amounts of inflation being injected by the Fed the broad markets will probably continue to go up on a nominal basis but in inflation adjusted terms will just be treading water. This is what happened during the entire duration of the last stagflation episode in the 70's. It is not that your stock is up in monetary terms it is what you will be able to buy with it when you cash it in.
