I'd love to see Teck involved but I think we might see something soon with Teck ,Barrick, and Novagold doing something on the Donlin project. I think the drop dead date is the 13th for Barrick on the 30%/70% split. If they can't settle it I see more legal battles between Barrick and Nova. Teck might just be the "peace maker" partner.

CVRD would be a great buyer...it is in their back yard and there stock has been real strong lately. Do they want Gold? Maybe they want the best!!

Anglo American is getting rid of Anglogold shares so doubt they are interested...Anglogold themselves are not in good shape as they have more gold ounces hedged than Barrick ( about 10.5Mill ounces)...they got to take care of this problem before they take on ARU.

RTZ and BHP are always around but I have no idea what they are up to. RTZ I think will rest a bit after Alcan and I think BHP is after more projects in Australia.

Goldfields just got out of Venezuela....maybe...but I am not sure they are leaving Venz with a good taste in their mouth...

As much as I hate to say it the most likely will be the big two Barrick and Newmont.....with Goldcorp a good possibility. I think the project has gotten too big for AEM with its current string of projects coming on line and I think they don't want to go any farther than Mexico for the time being.

When I put all these names in a coconut hat and threw them in the ocean the one that came back first was Newmont....so that must be the one!!! They need us and their stock price is increasing so they can throw a lot of shares at us....maybe even some cash from the Franco spin off.....who knows....
