TORONTO, ONTARIO- (May 6, 2011) - AurCrest Gold Inc. ("AurCrest" or the "Company") (TSX-V:AGO) announces it has completed staking at its McFaulds Lake area “Ring of Fire” property package of the James Bay Lowlands.A total of 4,880 acres over 8 claims in two blocks have been added to the land package. The first block consisting of 1,040 acres was added to the South Bend Property in order to cover two excellent VTEM anomalies identified from the Company’s VTEM airborne survey flown in 2008.The second block of 3,840 acres was staked in order to add to the Company’s north eastern block of claims based upon the interpreted trend of ZTEM and VTEM anomalies identified from the Company’s 2008 and 2010 airborne surveys.

The anomalies within these two blocks are untested and a follow-up field program is planned once spring break-up is complete. The South Bend Property is located 30 km east southeast of the First Nation community of Webequie and 40 kilometres west of Noront’s Eagle Nest Ni-Cu-PGE Deposit.
