Trevor Boyd was up at the drill site and was able to land the chopper on the site.
The pontoons are working and the drill is not sinking.
They are pulling core as we speak.
This is the 16th hole on Aug 16 (08/16). The previous hole at this location that narrowly missed the anomaly was hole 8.................just numbers or an omen?
They will go through roughly 30M of overburden and then granite before they get into the mineralization.
The magnetic conductance on the anomaly was in the high 500's which is getting high...apparently magnetite (iron oxide) is in the 700's. This raises the concern that this could be iron. However copper is also highly conductive. Considering that the previous assays in this viscinity indicated copper and nickel, we are keeping our fingers crossed.
Geoteck flew 960 line km of vtem, not the 1100 previously reported. Several new significant conductors were identified.
