For Immediate Release August 16, 2010

Tribute Minerals Inc. announces that it is recommencing drilling of the Sunday Anomaly VTEM-Magnetic trend located on its South Bend Property within its approximately 97,000 acre “Ring of Fire” package in the James Bay Lowlands. A single hole is being drilled to follow-up on a significant off-hole conductor defined from the recently completed Crone EM borehole survey on Hole SB-2010-08 that had been drilled last winter.

In addition, Tribute has recently received the results from the completed helicopter VTEM survey over five claims blocks within its Ring of Fire package. The 960 line-km survey had been flown in June, 2010 by Geotech Ltd. The survey data is being interpreted with the purpose of identifying anomalies for follow-up exploration this coming winter.

The technical information in this press release was reviewed and approved by Trevor Boyd, P. Geo., a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.
