Drill ready Gold projects
2nd largest land package - Red Lake Mining District & promising properties in the "Ring of Fire"
Not much new today...talked briefly with JAy and Ian.
They are still waiting for end to goose hunt...likely early next week.
Ian had a meeting with Geoteck today regarding borehole work. They are planning to start that as soon as goose hunt is finished.
Trevor wants to wait untill the vtem is done and the crone is done before drilling. He would prefer to put all the targets into the ring and prioritize them before spending money on drilling.
However it will depend on what they see on the downhole. If there is a GREAT target from downhole work, they will likely start to drill right away. My guess is they won't wait for the vtem results before drilling.
It was interesting to hear Trevor say that he is now comfortable drilling simply based on vtem results. In the past he relied on ground geophysics and insisted it be done before drilling. This shows how fast the technology is changing. It seems there is something new every 6 months.
Last week was the first time I met Trevor and he is a very likeable guy. He seems to have a lot of experience and he certainly is excited about the Sunday Anomaly.
This winter they have had some bad luck. Trevor broke his hip when he slipped on the ice at Webiquie. During the last drill program tehy did not have access to the downhole because of the blockade. Had they had the downhole they likely would have altered their drill locations/angles and perhaps hit the targets more directly. Without downhole you are relying solely on the geophysics. Downhole is like fine tuning the drill program as you go.
Now they have had to suspend the program due to the goose hunt. What do they say....good things come to those that wait. The wait is almost over. Next week they will be back in action and will have all the latest technology on their side.
Keep your fingers crossed.
