Yes I can confirm that Cobalt is present in the Copper Nickel Sulphide ores in the Sudbury Basin. Vale Inco separates the cobalt concentrate from the other precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium and a host of others and sends the cobalt to their Cobalt Refinery in Port Colbourne Ontario.

I understand the Cobalt is very valuable but I do not know the price...Kitco could likely tell us.....Looks like about $21USD / lb.
