I've done some reading recently on the geology of the athabasca basin following this news release. It turns out this news is quite revealing and exciting.
The key points mentioned are :
-172 meters of alteration encountered
- 25 meter interval of clay minerals
- conductors detected
As it turns out all of the Uranium deposits discovered to date in the AB were in alteration zones in association with clay minerals and conductors.
