AROWAY ENERGY INC. TO INCREASE 3D SEISMIC COVERAGE BY 75%

Chris Cooper, President & CEO commented, "This 55 square kilometer 3D seismic program is a tremendous undertaking for Aroway and our Joint Venture Partner. The 3D program will increase our seismic coverage on our 101 sections of land in our core area by 75%. Interpretation of the new seismic data will significantly increase our drilling prospect inventory and reduce our exploration risk as we execute on our 2012 drill program."

Exploration:

Exploration efforts are now focusing on a resource play with a limited production history. The Company wants to keep the name of the formation confidential due to competitive reasons. It is a shallower zone with a very high gas to natural gas liquids content (1 MMcf: 50 bbl vs. 1 MMcf: 15-20 bbl for the Leduc). No other companies in the area are producing from this formation, thus, if the program is successful, it could be a significant development for Aroway and its Partner.

Management anticipates production from this formation could be as high as 5 MMcf/d of gas and 250 bbl/day of natural gas liquids. NGL’s in the area sell at a 10% premium to oil. Drilling is planned to begin in the next few weeks. Aroway will pay 75% of all costs to earn 50% of all revenue as per the Joint Venture agreement with its Partner.

Depending on the outcome of the program, a follow-up program may be initiated. Aroway plans to continue to develop its reserves from the Leduc and Triassic formations with 11 wells planned for drilling this year. 7 of these wells are oil targets with the remaining 4 being targets for gas with a high natural gas liquids content.
