I emailed the question to another APV holder who has an extensive network at another site and he wondered if it might be a fund buying to pump up their end of quarter results. In other words, buying a bunch more APV not only reduces (presumably) their ave cost, but the buying temporarily inflates the price, making their fund's performance look better. Hope it is more than that, but I guess we will see.
