G_M,

1) AMZ will continue examining the metallurgical uses for the Verdet Slate, we now know from Dr. Korndorfers' release that we have the macronutrients calcium and magnesium within the properties of the Verdete, nutrients crucial to root growth and photosynthesis, macronutrients absent in KCI imports. Thermopotash was a great product before the Ca and Mg findings, it's so much so now with the entrained macronutrients, the market will eventually come to the realization that AMZ is where its at for answer to Brazil's fert requirements, let alone before we shop the product abroad.

2) The scoping study/PEA should be done in Sept, we already know that similar manufacturing costs to produce similar product are around $53/ton using a temp of 1400 degrees, the Verdete temp requirement is only 1100 degrees, a 300 degree advantage right there. For the most part the entire deposit is at surface with several large outcrops throughout the deposit strike length, this will be surface stripped, minimal haulage, a much smaller capex, around 10%, to set up a plant for production when compare to that of the KCI producers in Canada and elsewere.

3) Production purchase agreements in place for 45% of production right out of the box with Archelor Mittal/Agrifirma and Sekita each speaking for 15%.

4) First agritest results should come from Sekita.

5) Look for an agreement with a major sugarcane producer in the near future.

6) Peter Gundy is upbeat and very positive sounding in his comments with respect to what we are doing in the Cerrado with Verdete...

"It took me personally a year to
get involved in this thing and I am pleased that I did. I’m
glad I’m doing it because I like what I see and I’ve been
down here for a week and I still like what I see. In fact, I like
it more."

7) Retail is becoming very Potash aware, the BHP/POT deal has put Potash once again front and center, a political hot potatoe for Harper no doubt. As a potash company on the forefront of becoming the sole Brazilian supplier of Potash designed for Brazillian soil AMZ certainly has the opportunity to get the word out there, if they so decide to do so.

Imagine the press release:

"Amazon Mining poised to replace Potash imorts into Brazil"
