way back may of 08 BHP took out Anglo Potash AGP for 8.15 as share, at the time there were 31,665,925 shares outstanding and theyt held 25% of the JV property with BHP.
Amazon's got 100% of the property and already has 45% of production capability spoken for in the form of agreements with test partners, a fact that i believe the market is severely overlooking in valuing AMZ. Nothing like having "pre-sold" future production. By being first in line so to speak with the agreements the three amigo's Agrifirma, Archelor Mittal and Sekita have gauranteed themselves a supply of Thermopotash.
On a side note, for your interest, Mr. Todd D. Montgomery at the time of takeover was Pres and CEO of Anglo, he is now Director and CEO of Anglo Canadian Oil Corp (V.ACG), based out of Calgary, he likes this Anglo name. Now these guys are trying to prove up a new shale oil zone called the Nordegg Member in the Grande Prairie region of Alberta, he controls about 18 million shares himself, just picked up 6 at market and they have had a report come out
http://anglocanadianoil.com/pdf/NORDEGG_RESOURCE_STUDY_June_30_2010.pdf
that outlines Petroleum Initially In-Place in the Nordegg Member as being as high as 6.4 billion barrels. Currently drilling. 115 million outstanding, sitting at .73
that's my share for the week folks.
I would like to second the proposed spin off of the non potash properties. That would be a good thing.
I also believe our costs will come in lower than that of the cement boys by the heat requirement reduction alone.
Have a great weekend Potheads!
