Alto Ventures Ltd.: Alto-Wescan Finalize Drill Contract for Mud Lake Project, Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Belt
Things get worse on SP!
How long can Alto survive before finding cash from somewhere?
I looked at the financials and noticed Cash and equivalents at 31 March 2011 were 2.8 million CD approx. Loss for 3 months 500,000 CD. So on a simplistic calculation they have about 1.8 million CD now. Pls correst me if way off mark!
What we have at the moment on Coldstream is as follows(ozs)
Indicated Inferred
Destiny 364K 247k
Coldstream 96K 763K
Indicated :" Materials whose quality and quantity have been estimated partly from Analysis and measurements and partly from reasonable geological inferrences
Inferred:" Materials in identified deposits whose quality and quantity have been estimated from geological projections
So Inferred are less reliable
Any geo on forum or other expert have any idea what prospects are of significantly improving above resources on Coldstream and Destiny?
What can improve the situation as time and money are running out for Alto.
We have the assays from Iris Lake to be reported-Any chance first good results will be repeated.
Some more news due on Destiny-what prospects here?
Miner Lake-Fall drilling planned
Oxford Lake -Maybe to start work in 2012
The market Cap. is now less than 5 million CD. What is it worth selling off all the assets and winding up?
The international background has not been kind to Alto either, Has the downward dive been partly due to this. Foundation Resources does not seem to have suffered the same punishment that Alto has received. I wonder why?
The other question is: When will gold juniors finally catch the publics attention? Each time the gold price spikes it draws in first timers who then get crushed when the inevitable sell off comes, this keeps the general public very wary of Gold shares, especially speculative ones. One thing that could change this is a sustained rise of the gold price to over 2500 USD. The dollar looks as if its recent rally has run its course. Perhaps a fresh fall in the dollar will trigger a rally in gold.
Alto has been truly a disappointing investment, not much more to lose now so may as well stay in!
Any other views on overall situation regarding Alto
