I guess what ticks most people off is that they are getting totally free shares for the most part. They should have to put up some of their own funds into play. At least when they are given options, they have to exercise them by putting up their own cash.

On the plus side though, I don't think any insiders have ever sold a single share, whether they were free shares or options exercised.
