Checking out the local London Drugs

posted on Oct 26, 2009 03:07AM

I was out at the local mall this weekend, and decided to scope out London Drugs and see if T36 was on display. Sure enough, it was there and with decent stock. I snapped a pic of it for your viewing pleasure. T36 is the only alcohol based hand sanitizer that I could find at this particular London Drugs. It was flanked by X3 and some other brand that I had never heard of, but it was a natural ingredient hand sanitizer or something.

Some of you may already know this but the new bottles, packaging and labeling is much better quality than the first travel sized bottle that I bought. The Olympic label is eye catching, and directly on the bottle it says that it kills Norwalk-like and H1N1 viruses. I am very glad that they finally put that onto the bottle although I wished they used a brighter colour (murky brown) and a bigger typefont. That is what differentiates T36 vs the others. The others claim they kill germs, only Alda claims to kill viruses.

All in all, having LD as a retailer is a great first step for Alda, and I can imagine it can only get better as far as retailing is concerned once word gets out and consumers become more educated about the differences between bacteria, germs and viruses.
