I believe that the past 3 to five years were the “commodity bubble” era, which lead to the expected correction driving most Metal juniors to 5-10% their year highs, so when we compare how Alda has done relative to this brutal market, we are relatively O.K.
That being said, I like many long-term holders, do not like the current SP and believe its way too low. In reality we are below the price of ALDA’s last PP which happened almost a year ago at 36 when many of the current milestones were accomplished.
I also believe that TO played his cards right by slowing down his ship till we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I expect the markets to remain unstable for the coming 2 to 3 weeks (till the US gets its new president). Until then expect the markets to fluctuate a lot. However, I do not expect to be out of recession before Q1 2009. During such times you will start noticing a shift in the markets from Commodity stocks into bio-techs. JMHO
