There is a lot of information out there about MRSA and many people seem inclined to do an expose on the subject. Something I picked up is that even with the right products in place, people have to change their practices.
What they were referring to was cleaning staff that would actually spread the germs by using towels and not changing or discarding them. For example, they could spray an anti-MRSA agent on faucets or a rag and start wiping several faucets in different hospital rooms. Then they would use the same rag and run it the entire length of a handrail in the corridor of a hospital followed by a wipe-down of the elevator buttons.
Effectively, they have distributed MRSA to locations that may not have been infected. It is unlikey the most potent of products would do any good in a senario like this which apparently all to common.
