About The Blue Quartz
The Blue Quartz property is located 70 km east of Timmins where several current and past producing mines are located. The property consists of 25 patented mining claims, covering 400 hectares (4 square kilometres) of Early Precambrian Geology, situated on gold mineralized geological structures within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The Blue Quartz mine is located in the north central part of Beatty Township and is approximately 8 kilometres northwest of the producing Black Fox Mine, 12 kilometres northwest of the producing Hislop Mine and 14 kilometres northwest of the former producing Ross Mine.

NQ Intersects 11.55 t/t Au Over 1.30 Metres at its Lac Shortt Project
NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NQE)
is pleased to report the results of three holes drilled at its Lac Shortt project (option on a 100% interest), located about 150 kilometres southwest of Chibougamau, Quebec.
In June and July, the Company drilled three holes totalling 993 metres. Three other proposed holes could not be drilled on the eastern extension of the mine due to the swampy nature of the ground, but could be drilled during the winter.
The third hole tested a structure interpreted from a MegaTEM survey in the southeastern part of the property. It intersected two strong gold zones, the first grading 6.40 g/t Au over 1.20 metres from 61.0 to 62.2 metres, and the second grading 11.55 g/t Au over 1.30 metres from 242.0 to 243.3 metres. In both cases, the gold mineralization is associated with zones of quartz veinlets injected into a sheared, carbonatized and weakly hematized mafic volcanic with 4-6% disseminated pyrite.

VMS Ventures Intersects 1.61 Metres Grading 2.13 g/t Gold in Hole CP-11-013 on its Copper Project, Near Snow Lake, Manitoba
VMS Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: VMS)
is pleased to update progress on its Copper project near Snow Lake.
Hole CP-11-013 intersected 1.61 metres grading 2.13 g/t gold on Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) target CE-86. Gold mineralization is hosted in an altered shear zone with disseminated sulphides and quartz veins. This target is located 2.5 kilometres northeast of the Kof zone that hosts an historical (non-compliant NI 43-101) resource of 257,000 tonnes grading 2.30% copper.
Neil Richardson, VMS's Chief Operating Officer states: "The gold mineralization on the Copper project is located 2.5 km northeast of the Kof zone and is the second significant discovery through drilling, on this project this year. The geology from all of the drilling to date indicates favourable volcanic stratigraphy, so we will continue compiling and evaluating targets on the Copper project."
About VMS Ventures Inc.:
