A coal safety symposium titled "The Road to Zero Harm" will be held in Bluefield Aug. 26 and Aug. 27, organizers announced.

Symposium speakers will include Brett Harvey of Consol Energy; Richard Stickler of the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration; Jeffery Kohler of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health; Jim Roberts of Foundation Coal; Mike Quillen of Alpha Natural Resources; and Rick Whiting of Patriot Coal.
