MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rajant Corporation, a leading provider of portable, reliable, and adaptable wireless networking solutions, is pleased to announce that mining industry veteran Robert Wingle has joined the Company as Engineering Project Manager – Mining Division.

In his new role, Mr. Wingle will oversee global project engineering management responsibilities in the mining market for both above and below ground mines. Mr. Wingle will provide planning and execution expertise in key areas of mining by overseeing new mining network deployments, customer requirements and future product innovation. Mr. Wingle will be based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Robert Wingle, an alumnus of the University of Arizona’s mining engineering program and graduate school, has 30 years of project engineering, implementation, technical and consulting experience in mining and mining communications. Prior to joining Rajant, Robert worked as a Senior Consultant with Caterpillar, Inc. where he spent eight years involved with the marketing, sales, deployments and support of Caterpillar Technology Products and Services including MineStar®, CAES, Wireless VIMS, and Aquila DM systems.
